Breakfast is provided, but there are no group activities today. Private transfer is provided that are flying out this morning. For those that are staying or have a flight outside the transfer window, we can help you with any post-tour planning. Grazie!!
You will need a valid passport. We recommend renewing or applying for your passport well in advance of travel due to higher wait times for passports in 2019. Passport MUST be valid six months after your final return date. You can find detailed instructions on how to renew or apply for your passport online here through the State Department.
You will want to pack for warm weather, as well as some cooler evenings. Italians also dress to impress so we suggest packing clothes for a few fancy dinners. Comfortable shoes is a must as there will be a lot of walking. Dress shoes also recommended.
Italy in June is fantastic. The summer heat as not yet set in, and the main summer crowds have not yet hit. Most of the areas we will visit will have an average high in June of 81 degrees and an average low of 60.
This tour does not include airfare, so your flight arrangements are completely up to you. Tour will officially begin at the orientation meeting at our hotel in Rome at 4pm on June 4th, 2019 and end the morning of June 13th in Venice.
Some members may elect to add a pre or post stay to the tour. We are happy to work with you to accommodate an additional stay in Italy or wider Europe.
You are welcome to come a day or two early before the tour start date. This will allow you to recover from jet lag as well as spend more time exploring the Eternal City.
Members that wish to take advantage of the tour transfer from the airport to hotel will arrive June 4th between 7am-9am. Some tour members will arrive outside the transfer window and will need to find transportation into Rome city center.
